"The Secret Life of Women" TV segment reveals international meetings from the perspective of foreign women
Before a single interview was filmed, WETV editors decided to create a segment that could be called "mail order brides." But what does that mean? The men who went abroad to meet the women have often been reprimanded with, "What are you doing – trying to find a mail order bride?" However, people with sense common understanding that can not ask a human being through the mail. How is this sentence of 150 years old, still a part of the vocabulary of Western culture?
It may be acceptable to criticize the men to go abroad to find love, but what happens when a TV channel for women makes a show with stories of foreign women is? A radically different perspective develops.
Like millions of viewers were glued to their screens on Tuesday night many saw "Secret Lives of Women" WETV and things heard, had never considered before. A clear case was that women from other countries who have valid reasons and smart enough to look abroad.
"With over 3 million and a half more women than men in the Ukraine, women are looking elsewhere to find love, "said the female commentator.
"Men in Ukraine is not bad here. There are good men, but are not looking for relationships long term, "said Anna, a woman of 21 years is now married to Mark, a man in Sacramento, California.
Appeared that the common theme. Men have too many options abroad and have less motivation to settle down. So what do these women find the family-oriented men? Who register with "marriage agencies" in the hope they can help them connect with good foreign men through this mode href = "http://www.internationaldatingformen.com/"> international appointments.
"The marriage agencies are very popular here," said Nastya, an 18-year-old Ukrainian. "When the women here can interact with foreign men who are very enthusiastic. American men have made a good impression on me. "
"In my opinion, American men are smart people – the intellectuals," said another woman 18 years Valarie old names. "They seem to understand immediately what girls want."
So how does this comply with the West? Agencies facilitate international meetings through correspondence between the letter and personal meetings. In this segment, teams followed a social gathering where 200 women went to a party, but only 25 foreign men were available for presentations.
Reactions were mixed. Many women were disappointed, obviously, there were no more men. Others experienced culture shock as some of the men tried to impress their lives in America.
"Some men wanted to impress me. They showed me pictures and say, look at my house or my car. I do not care homes or cars or money. If like you, I will like, "said Anna." Maybe some women are looking for money, but it was after a husband. "
Nastya and social Valarie attended but were not addressed by any of the men until right at the end. They found what they expected, but said that no doubt as to try again.
WETV says this about themselves, "available at almost 74 million homes, WE TV offers viewers compelling perspectives women `s life, ranging from ordinary to extraordinary, presented in a voice without prejudice. "
This segment seems to fulfill that promise. May well have was the first program to provide non-judgmental voice on behalf of these women. Perhaps a new day and has set new tone for dialogue on the true story – being human history – which is of international meetings .
